Baruch Performing Arts Center continues its Milt Hinton Jazz Perspectives Concert Series with pianist Vijay Iyer and trumpeter Wadada Leo Smith performing selections from their 2016 album A Cosmic Rhythm With Each Stroke on April 17, 2020 at 8PM. From February 27 to March 15, Theater for the New City (TNC) will present comedian/actor/broadcaster Donald E. Lacy Jr. updating his one man show, 'ColorStruck,' a bittersweet examination of how cultural assumptions drive American society. Since national politics provide a never-ending supply of new material, the piece is continually reshaped. The velocity of change since TNC presented the show's New York debut last year (Feb-March, 2019) has inspired Lacy to initiate a new version that reflects pressing current events.

Theater On The Edge is extending its run of Talk Radio by Eric Bogosian, through Sunday, February 16th. The dramedy stars theater ensemble members Marco DiGeorge, Adam Minossora, Elaitheia Quinn, and Christopher Ivers alongside a large ensemble cast. Directed by Allan Whitehead, Talk Radio has been receiving glowing reviews and has sold out its initial run of the show, prompting a need for additional performances.

West Side Story is officially in previews on Broadway! The new production is directed by Tony Award winner Ivo van Hove; and for the first time ever in the United States, will feature all-new choreography by the internationally acclaimed Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. The ASPECT Chamber Music Series continues its fourth New York City season of illuminating performances with Russian Elegy on Thursday, December 4, 2019 at 7:30pm at Bohemian National Hall. The program features violinist Misha Keylin, cellist Zlatomir Fung, and pianist Pavel Nersessian in Anatoly Lyadov's Three Pieces, Op. 57; Glinka's Trio Pathétique; and Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in a minor, Op. 50.

Pegasus: The Orchestra will make their Merkin Hall debut on Saturday, November 23rd at 8pm led by conductor Karén! Hakobyan. Glenn Dicterow, the legendary former concertmaster of New York Philharmonic, will join Pegasus concertmaster Eiko Kano for Bach's Double Violin Concerto. Opening the program will be the world premiere of Hakobyan's Contempo: Bach Recombinant and to close, Tchaikovsky's beloved Serenade for Strings.
