Barrington Stage Company Founding Artistic Director Julianne Boyd's new production of Faith Healer by the great Irish playwright, Brian Friel (Dancing at Lughnasa, Translations) opened last night, Saturday, August 5. The production will play through Sunday, August 27 on the St. Germain Stage at the Blatt Center for Performing Arts. Check out photos from the production here!

Duff McKagan has shared I SAW GOD ON 10TH ST., the new single from his eagerly awaited third solo album. LIGHTHOUSE will be available in a wide range of formats, including streaming, download, CD, cassette, and LP. A number of deluxe versions and bundles are also available, including official Certificates of Authenticity signed by McKagan.

The Atlanta Opera has announced that five creative teams have been selected to participate in the second annual 96-Hour Opera Project, a composition competition and showcase that pairs composers and librettists to write ten-minute operas. Bringing their completed works to Atlanta, the teams will workshop and rehearse their productions over four days from June 9–12, with travel, housing, singers, pianists and rehearsal space provided.
