At its heart, Sister Act: The Musical is a celebration of sisterhood and the unexpected bonds formed in the most unlikely places. While Deloris Van Cartier begins her journey chasing fame, her time with the nuns reveals a deeper calling: not spiritual in the traditional sense, but rooted in connection, community, and self-worth.

Interview: Aaron Alon of THE CHOSEN ONES at Thunderclap Productions
by Brett Cullum - Aug 7, 2025

And I realized that this is a subject that I feel like we've stopped talking about, even though it's still a really big deal. The big national organization, Exodus, had been dissolved. And that's a really interesting story, actually, about how that ended. And they had so much more presence in the media when there was this big national group over it. Review: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at Synetic Theater
by Jake Bridges - Jul 21, 2025

In the hands of Synetic Theater, Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM becomes more than a whimsical tale of love and mischief—it transforms into a kinetic, visually arresting spectacle that dances between comedy and enchantment.

Breaking Down Broadway's Spookiest Musicals
by Jennifer Ashley Tepper - Oct 12, 2025

This past season contained a higher than usual amount of Broadway shows involving death; in fact, Operation Mincemeat and Dead Outlaw both specifically revolved around transporting a corpse! And Death Becomes Her leans into the hilarity as two women become gorgeous living corpses before our very eyes, thanks to a touch of magic. But plays and musicals about death and its attendant macabre topics have been a part of the theatre landscape for many decades...

Review: PARLOUR SONG, Greenwich Theatre
by Clementine Scott - May 16, 2025

In the Jez Butterworth canon, it’s easy to overlook Parlour Song. First staged at the Almeida in 2009 and not revived in the UK since, this kitchen sink drama lacks the fiery polemicism of The Ferryman or the bold state-of-the-nation reflectiveness of Jerusalem. Greenwich Theatre Artistic Director James Haddrell’s production makes a solid, if not entirely compelling, argument for revisiting this early work.
