After closing its doors in 2020, iO Theater announces its return to the Chicago improv comedy stage. Starting Thursday, November 3, more than twenty different improv productions will once again be featured across the theater's stages, including favorites like “The Armando,” “Sex and the Windy City,” and “Stir Friday Night.”

The Meaning of Zong is the boldly inventive debut play by Giles Terera whose performance in the original run at Bristol Old Vic won him the 2022 UK Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Play. The Meaning of Zong celebrates the power of the human spirit against adversity, and the journey to understand our place in the world.

The Seattle premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL is playing The Paramount Theatre from November 8 – 13.  Inspired by the seminal rock album of the same name by seven-time Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette (she/her), tickets to the Tony and Grammy award-winning production are available now on-line.

Recorded at Studio 4 Recording in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, Distant Populations was produced and engineered by Will Yip (The Menzingers, Code Orange, Defeater), and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold). The album is the follow-up to the critically lauded 2017 release Interiors.

Basiani – The State Ensemble of Georgian Folk Singing will return for one evening at First Presbyterian Church of Santa Monica on Friday, November 4 at 7:30pm. The evening is presented by BroadStage.

The 12-time GRAMMY® winner also teams up with Ari Lennox; Kehlani; Queen Naija, Coco Jones; Tiana Major9; Tink; Baby Tate; Muni Long; Amaarae; Sevyn Streeter & Tkay Maidza; Doechii and Angie Martinez & Lala Anthony. The project features collaborations with some of the brightest female R&B stars, including Ella Mai.

Primary Stages has announced additional performers for their 38th Anniversary Gala, honoring long-time collaborators Charles Busch and Carl Andress (The Confession of Lily Dare; The Tribute Artist) with the 2022 Einhorn Mentorship Award. The event will take place on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at 6pm at Sony Hall
