Hudson Classical Theater Company (formerly known as Hudson Warehouse) just finished their highly successful July production of “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” which kicked off their 18th season.  Now that New York City is open to live theater, HCTC will bring back the classics to their summer stage in Riverside Park.

Disney's “Beauty and the Beast” is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Passim has created a new way to support emerging artists. Established in 2021, the Eastern Front Songwriter Grant will be given out annually by Passim to an emerging singer/songwriter to help finance a professional recording project. The first recipient of the grant will be songwriter Gabriella Simpkins.

Producer Jeffrey Seller today announced Broadway casting for Hamilton when performances resume September 14, 2021 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. In addition, the Richard Rodgers box office (226 West 46th Street) will reopen on August 2, 2021 at 10:00 am.
