Broadway star Kay Cole, who portrayed Maggie in the original production of A Chorus Line, has joined the cast of The Wedding Singer at The Colony Theatre.

French sensation PIAF! The Show has a new date for its return to Boston. The musical experience will now take place Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Berklee Performance Center, presented by Cherry Orchard Festival.

His stage resume also included appearances in Promises, Promises (1968), They’re Playing Our Song (1979), and Victor/Victoria (1995) alongside Julie Andrews. His other notable Broadway credits include Cabaret (1987 revival), and Xanadu (2007).

Some of the shows that the Orpheum has been best known for are Stomp, which ran there for an astounding 29 years, from 1994 to 2023, and the original production of Little Shop of Horrors which spent over five years at the theater from 1982 to 1987. 

HAIRSPRAY, a co-production of the White Theatre and the Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City, is the kind of old-fashioned, joyous, musical theater experience that recalls a PAJAMA GAME, or a DAMN YANKEES, kind of show that is just pure entertainment.  Additionally, HAIRSPRAY has a point to make and a super cast with which to make it.
