Purple Rose Theatre Holds 2019/20 General Auditions

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will hold auditions for its 2019 / 2020 season on Monday, April 15 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Tuesday, April 16 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Audition appointments are required and can be made beginning Monday, March 11 by calling the PRTC Administration Office at 734.433.7782. Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and Fridays from 11:30 am until 5:00 pm. Equity and non-Equity actors ages 18 and over are encouraged to audition. (more...)

Stolen Elephant Theatre are bringing their Sold Out Ed Fringe play 'Shackleton and his Stowaway' to London. It is based on the real events of the legendary Endurance expedition to Antarctica. It follows the misfortunes of an 18 year old stowaway who sneaks aboard Endurance. Initially, the stowaway is in complete awe of Shackleton. But this fades by the time Shackleton has gotten them trapped in the polar ice pack - even more so when Endurance actually breaks up and sinks. Set in Europe's largest unofficial refugee camp in Calais, France, the Jungle became a temporary home for more than 10,000 people in 2015.
