THE DJANGO will bring another month of stellar jazz by some of the field’s heroes alongside young, emerging artists.

In time for Mother’s Day, Edie Carey shares “Rise,” one of several songs on her forthcoming album The Veil (out June 3, 2022) that focus on her journey to motherhood, premiering today on Folk Alley. “Carey dug into her memories of setting out to become a mother. The 2022 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to U.K. playwright Benedict Lombe for her debut play Lava. In a special presentation at Shakespeare's Globe in London, the Blackburn Prize judges presented Lombe with a cash prize of $25,000, and a signed limited-edition print by renowned artist Willem de Kooning, created especially for the Prize. 

Award-winning actor/director Frank Ferrante re-creates his acclaimed New York and London stage portrayal celebrating America's greatest comedian - Groucho Marx.  You will feel as though Groucho is back, as Ferrante sings, dances and performs classic routines on the North Coast Rep stage, May 2nd & 3rd, 2022 at 7:30pm.
