Ice Theatre of New York will perform at the Winter Holiday Skating Celebration and Tree Lighting at the Ice Rink at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 4pm. 18 months ago, in March of 2020, St. Dunstan’s Theatre was just one week from Opening Night of the Ken Ludwig comedy, Leading Ladies. The stage was set, the costumes were ready to go, and the actors and crew were putting on the finishing touches. On March 13, 2020, rehearsals ceased, and everyone left the theatre. At first, it was assumed the show could just be pushed back a month, maybe two. Little did anyone know that it would be a year and a half until we returned to the stage to finally be able to bring Leading Ladies to a live audience!

The festivities will highlight Montgomery County, Pennsylvania's over 200 arts and culture venues, which normally represent $100 million in positive economic impact, not to mention hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs. The county, which has hosted such prestigious international entertainment organizations like Cirque du Soleil, Big Apple Circus, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, will roll out the red carpet to visitors for Arts Montco Week, September 17-26, 2021.
