It's a weird time in the world right now. It's always been a weird time in EGGland. The Lovely Eggs, the acclaimed psych-punk duo, who are set to release their new album 'I Am Moron' this coming April 3rd via EGG Records, had been due to tour the UK in April to promote the album's release and many of the dates were already sold out. Obviously, due to current world events the tour now cannot take place, but The Lovely Eggs are not the giving up type, and the band have successfully already rescheduled all of their dates to now take place in July.

Today Amsterdam's The Mauskovic Dance Band have announced they will be pushing back the release date of their forthcoming EP Shadance Hall. The EP marks their debut on Dekmantel Records and will now be released on out April 17th. On Shadance Hall, they concoct a tantalising brew of no-wave, psych rock, cumbia, power dub and numerous other colourful shades of global grooves. The full release drops on April 17th, but the dub versions of the EP are already available digitally. Pre-order Shadance Hall on digital HERE + vinyl HERE.

Today, the new Nashville-based band The Voodoo Children released the official video for 'Caroline,' the first single from their forthcoming debut EP Instant Nostalgia - Side A out this spring via Blood Bathe Records. The Voodoo Children is an ever-evolving community-based project revolving around Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer and visual artist JT Daly, who fronted the Nashville-based band Paper Route and more recently co-produced K. Flay's album Every Where Is Some Where, including the hit single 'Blood in the Cut' (for which Daly received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Engineered Album).

Garage-punk band The Electric Mess share a new single 'City Sun' today! Self-described as a dystopian proto-punk ripper, its timing is darkly appropriate, although unintended, with NYC, and the world, coming to a grinding halt over the COVID-19 virus. Ghost Cult Magazine premiered the track, hailing it as an 'uplifting, triumph of weirdos cutting through the gray of these times.' 'City Sun' comes ahead of The Electric Mess' fifth album The Electric Mess V, due out April 17th.

Vineyard Theatre has announced that starting tomorrow, Friday, March 13  all performances of Dana H. will be suspended through March 31. The theatre will play to 50% capacity April 1 - 12. This is in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and state and local health officials' executive orders.

Following the recent release of their latest album, Hollow, Elephant Stone is announcing a North American tour that includes dates in the US and Canada. The band was preparing for an intense 9 show run at SXSW, but isn't letting the festival's cancellation slow their enthusiasm for sharing their work. The album is the first to be fully recorded and released from frontman Rishi Dhir's (also of MIEN) own studio which gave them the ability to explore sound in a way they were previously unable to.
