Westport Country Playhouse will kick off its 93rd season with the sassy and sultry musical celebration, “Ain’t Misbehavin’: The Fats Waller Musical,” winner of the 1978 Tony Award® for Best Musical, from April 11 through April 29. 

 Legendary singer-songwriter Al Stewart, along with his band The Empty Pockets comes to City Winery Boston for one show only Thursday, March 30 at 8pm.

Alongside versions of Fly To The Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer and Humanity (Hour 1), remastered for the first time ever, are further handpicked treasures including Savage Amusement, World Wide Live, Love at First Sting, Blackout, Animal Magnetism, Lovedrive, Tokyo Tapes and Taken By Force.

It will feature hits from the likes of Coldplay and Adele, as well as remastered versions of songs on the original album by Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, and more. Originally conceived by producers Don Reedman and Jeff Jarratt, the original ‘Classic Rock’ became a mix of rock and pop songs rearranged in an orchestral style.

Blue Note Hawaii, the legendary venue for live entertainment, is proud to announce a month full of entertainment in the heart of Waikiki. April is full of laughs, local music and international superstars. Kool & the Gang makes its highly anticipated debut, while guitar legend Larry Carlton makes a stop in the islands for his Farewell Tour.

Cox will be the first Black woman to receive the national honour. Cox will perform live from Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.

Record Store Day release will include a deluxe two-disc, four-track 7' set on red and yellow vinyl, set inside a gatefold sleeve featuring photos from the period. Disc one (red) features the original single plus the French version. Disc two features a demo from 1978 and a live version recorded at the Paramount Theatre, Portland, in January 1979.

The 2022 event will take place from Thursday 30th June - Sunday 3rd July with improved access and room for even more festival goers. Going into its sixth year, BACK 2 FESTIVAL is moving back to where it all started at Catton Park in Derbyshire.

Cannery Casino Hotel will host its annual Cannerystock Music Fest, featuring iconic '80s hits at The Club on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4. April entertainment at Cannery will also feature performances by Yellow Brick Road, “Queen Nation – Tribute to Queen” and The Whispers with Evelyn “Champagne” King.
