The 2026 Slamdance Film Festival, the artist-led organization “by filmmakers, for filmmakers,” has unveiled its 2026 lineup. The festival will run in-person from February 19 to 25, 2026, and virtually from February 24 to March 6, 2026.

The personal life and writings of Oscar Wilde have been so inextricably linked that the new play DORIAN has woven  Wilde's journey into that of one of his best known characters, Dorian Gray. Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of the acclaimed musical TAMMY FAYE. Two-time Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben will recreate her Olivier Award-winning performance as Tammy Faye Bakker, and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will reprise his Olivier-nominated performance as Jim Bakker. TAMMY FAYE will begin preview performances on October 19th and will officially open on November 14th, 2024 at Broadway's Palace Theater. 

Med Hondo’s cinematic odyssey WEST INDIES: THE FUGITIVE SLAVES OF LIBERTY (1979) will run at Film Forum in a new 4K restoration. Adapted from Daniel Boukman’s Les Négriers (The Slavers), a play which Hondo directed in Paris in the early 70s, WEST INDIES: THE FUGITIVE SLAVES OF LIBERTY tells the story of French imperialism as a musical extravaganza.

Finally, this Kander and Ebb masterpiece has been done in France, with French dialogue and lyrics to boot

Full casting has been announced for the 10th Anniversary Concert of MADE IN DAGENHAM at the London Palladium on Saturday 16 March 2024.
