Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in Pittsfield, MA., in the heart of the Berkshires, and under the leadership of Founder/Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, has announced its 2020 season. BSC will present two World Premiere musicals and new productions of a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical classic, a Tony Award-winning musical revue, and a Pulitzer Prize-winning play.

Break-dancin' magician and star of the west-end hit magic show Impossible, Magical Bones is taking his brand-new magic show Black Magic on the road from the 21st February a?" 12th June, following a stunning sold-out show at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Erik Lee Preminger, the son of legendary burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee (whose 1957 memoirs inspired the classic musical GYPSY) and film director Otto Preminger, will appear in-person at Naples's Theatrezone on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 to present his one-man show about his famous mother (featuring rare home movies, television shows, newsreel footage, a question-and-answer session, and more). Cygnet Theatre will present the sharp-witted new drama The Great Leap by Lauren Yee. Directed by Rob Lutfy, this show runs January 22 through February 16, 2020. Opening Night for media is on the Chinese New Year (Year of the Rat), Saturday, January 25 at 8:00PM.

This holiday season, ABC once again airs the PEANUTS Christmas special “I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown,” produced and animated by the same team that gave us the other, now classic cartoon specials based on Charles M. Schulz's famed comic strip. “I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown” airs SUNDAY, DEC. 22 (7:00-8:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.

The Rubin Museum of Art has announced its first exhibition of 2020, 'Measure Your Existence,' a new group show organized by guest curator of contemporary art, Christine Starkman. Opening February 7, 2020, the exhibition will feature six contemporary artists who address the fleeting nature of existence through performance, installation, film, sculpture, and photography.
