This autumn, The Royal Opera launches Dark Nights, a new Linbury Theatre series showcasing one‑off performances by leading vocal innovators and experimental composers. Celebrating new music, the programme explores the theatrical possibilities of the human voice.

Gerardine Sacdalan, known for her WhatsonStage-nominated turn in the UK tour of @Juliet, will play Veronica Sawyer in HEATHERS THE MUSICAL's London season and UK & Ireland tour, with full casting now announced.

For anyone who grew up in the 2000s, the music of Ne-Yo and Akon formed part of the soundtrack to an entire generation. On June 17, the two hitmakers brought their co-headlining NIGHTS LIKE THIS tour to Rogers Arena, launching the North American leg of the 57-city world tour in Vancouver, BC. Built around nostalgia and packed with songs that dominated radio, clubs, and playlists throughout the mid-2000s, NIGHTS LIKE THIS reunited two artists whose catalogs have remained staples for more than two decades. Throughout the evening, Ne-Yo and Akon traded the spotlight while revisiting the hits that helped establish them as two of the most recognizable voices of their generation. 

EVERYBODY’S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE has announced that Ashcon Rahmani and Rebecca Trehearn will be playing the roles of Jamie and Margaret New for the 10th Anniversary tour commencing in January 2027, coming to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.

Aniya Thompson will make her Off-Broadway debut as Martha Dunnstock in HEATHERS THE MUSICAL at New World Stages, replacing Erin Morton, who received Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Award nominations for the role.

Producers Bill Kenwright Ltd and Paul Taylor-Mills haved announced Westerberg High’s Class of 2026. Casting for Veronica Sawyer will be revealed at West End Live. Louis Hearsey (I Was a Teenage She-Devil) will play Jason ‘J.D.’ Dean.

Shadowland Stages, the Ellenville, NY theater celebrating its 41st season, announced casting for THE RESERVOIR and upcoming productions, including AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS by Mark Brown.

GRAMMY-nominated trio The Record Company are set to hit the road on Wednesday, June 17 for additional summer dates on their “Give It Back To You 10th Anniversary” Tour, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album.
