FX today announced the cast that will star in the pilot for Gone Hollywood. Set in 1980, Gone Hollywood centers on a group of talent agents who defect from an old-guard percentery to found their own, which skyrockets to industry dominance, disrupting the business and changing movies forever. The show will mix its fictional protagonists with real-life entertainment figures and events.

Nickelodeon today unveiled the brand-new cast of '90s icon, All That, featuring a talented and diverse group of comedians who reflect the spirit and humor of today's generation of kids. Ranging in age from 12-15, each kid brings their own unique comedic skill to the show, from impressions of today's biggest celebrities, to original characters inspired by their lives, to physical comedy sketches. Isaac Mizrahi returns to Cafe Carlyle for three special performances titled Isaac & on June 10, June 17, and June 24. Isaac's previous three residencies in the room were sellouts, receiving widespread critical acclaim. He'll be joined by his band of jazz musicians, led by Ben Waltzer, for an evening of eclectic tunes and charming storytelling. Each night a well-known friend will join him on stage for a few songs and banter. With a fresh stock of swag items to re-gift to audience members and a wealth of commentary on everything from prescription drugs to obsession with social media, audiences are sure to be delighted by this "founding father of Alt Cabaret," according to the New York Times.

Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson and San Francisco Ballet today announced programming for the 2020 Repertory Season. Building on a heritage of commissioning groundbreaking dance from today's top choreographers, uncovering new choreographic talent, staging modern classics, and preserving the works that make up the canon of classic ballet, the 2020 Season places SF Ballet at the forefront of innovation and preeminence. Highlights include two new SF Ballet commissions by Cathy Marston and Trey McIntyre, and a co-commission with American Ballet Theatre of a work by Alexei Ratmansky; as well as works by George Balanchine, David Dawson, Harald Lander, Edwaard Liang, Benjamin Millepied, Mark Morris, Liam Scarlett, Helgi Tomasson, and Stanton Welch. The Season's three story ballets include Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Wheeldon's Cinderella, and Tomasson's Romeo & Juliet.

The Stratford Festival lost one of its pioneers today. Douglas Rain died of natural causes early this morning at the age of 90 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, just outside of Stratford, Ontario, the city in which he established his career, becoming one of the world's great classical actors.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.
