​​​​​​Berkshire Theatre Group has announced casting for shows in BTG’s Late Summer 2022 Season. The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

Today, the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) announced it has extended Gianandrea Noseda's contract as Music Director for an additional two seasons, through the 2026–2027 season, his tenth at the helm of the NSO.

Ronald K. Brown / EVIDENCE will return to Jacob’s Pillow in Week 2 of the Dance Festival this year from June 29-July 3. The company will perform several works, including the world premiere of The Equality of Night and Day, with noted jazz composer Jason Moran playing live for each performance.

After celebrating its 25th Anniversary in residence at Theater Wit—a season that featured the world premiere, acclaimed hit Relentless, which went on to an extended run at Goodman Theatre—the company will return to its longtime home in Chicago’s Lakeview East neighborhood, located at 615 W. TFANA has extended the run of Alice Childress’s Wedding Band, directed by Awoye Timpo, to May 22. (The production, which began previews April 28—postponed from an original date of April 23 due to two COVID-19 cases—was formerly set to close May 15).

The Board of Directors of The Elite Theatre Company has unanimously voted to donate all proceeds from all Thursday evening performances in 2022 to UNICEF for their work to help children affected by the war in Ukraine. The performances will be held at 8:00 pm on May 19th (‘night Mother), August 4th (Lobby Hero), August 25th (God’s Country), October 6th (The LatinX Experience) and November 17th (Cover of Life).
