Casting has been announced for the UK and Ireland tour of Bartlett Sher's critically acclaimed and multi award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's much loved MY FAIR LADY, which comes to Birmingham Hippodrome from Wednesday 8 March – Sunday 26 March 2023.

Overture Center's 2022/23 season, revealed in May 2022, showcases an array of diverse artistic expressions, cultures and personality.

Members of Paper Mill Playhouse's competitive Conservatory are directed and choreographed by Paper Mill Playhouse’s professional artistic staff in a fully produced, original concert titled A Whole New World: A Tribute to Alan Menken. The concert features over 90 talented young performers, on July 29 at 7:30 PM and July 30 at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Stars from Broadway and West End will pay tribute to 8-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken on September 23rd with a concert and on September 24th with a concert and award ceremony where the acclaimed composer and songwriter will be honored with the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award by the city of Vienna.

PIPPIN, written by Roger O. Hirson, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, will run at Playhouse on Park July 6 - August 21, 2022. This will be the final production in Playhouse on Park’s 13th Main Stage Season.

Porchlight Music Theatre is proud to announce Jim Corti as the recipient of the 2022 Guy Adkins Award for Excellence in the Advancement of Music Theatre. Autism friendly performances provide access for families with children and adults on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities.

Historical themes have always been incorporated into stage shows, from classic Broadway musicals to contemporary productions. Contrary to what some may believe, not all historical-themed productions are old Broadway musicals. Several historical musicals have gone on to become classics, though this is not specifically a golden age musicals list.
