BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that stage and screen actress Dame Maggie Smith has died at age 89. Perhaps best known for her screen roles in the Harry Potter film series and Downton Abbey, Smith also had several stage credits to her name, and won a Tony Award in 1990.

On October 4 and 5, 2024, 54 BELOW will present “Juan Pablo Di Pace: Live!” at 7:00 p.m. Juan Pablo Di Pace pays tribute to the iconic songs from Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, and the Bee Gees – plus original compositions.

The 7 Fingers, also known as Les 7 doigts de la main, are making their Center Theatre Group debut at the Ahmanson September 11, 2024. This artist collective based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada was founded in 2002 by seven circus artists: Isabelle Chassé, Shana Carroll, Patrick Léonard, Faon Shane, Gypsy Snider, Sébastien Soldevila, and Samuel Tétreault. Shana found time to describe 7 Fingers’ signature electrifying mix of circus, theatre, illusion, music, and dance inspired by the star-crossed tale of Romeo and Juliet. 

2B&2C: The Ken Cro-Ken Memorial Foundation is presenting A Matter of Time, the music of Matt Sullivan and the artworks of Ken Kro-Ken from Friday, September 6 through Saturday, September 24 at Gallery 2B&2C, 9 Avenue B in Manhattan's Alphabet City/East Village.
