Paula Vogel's Indecent has been extended at 1st Stage in Tysons, VA following a sold-out opening weekend. Directed by Artistic Director Alex Levy, the Helen Hayes Recommended production runs through late June.

Gina Galati’s wonderful Winter Opera company continues its 17th season with Puccini’s Manon Lescaut. This work, which opened in 1893, was Puccini’s first great hit. It was rather daring of Puccini to present this piece, based as it was on a novel that had already been adapted to opera by two other composers—first by Daniel Aubert (1856), and then in a hugely successful work by Jules Massenet 1884.
The 1st Stage production of The Last Match by Anna Ziegler features Fabiolla Da Silva, Drew Kopas (previously seen in Airness), Ethan Miller (previously seen in Swimming with Whales), and Lynette Rathnam (previously seen in The Phlebotomist). Airness is “unmitigated pleasure... filled with dignity and delight” (Chicago Reader). Airness is a regional premiere co-production with Keegan Theatre. The production will transfer from Keegan to 1st Stage and begin performances on December 5 at 1st Stage's theatre space.
