The Palace Theater has announced a seven-show line-up for the 2023-2024 Webster Bank Broadway Series. Filled with exciting titles, including the nine-time Tony Award winning THE BOOK OF MORMON, and HARPER LEE'S TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, the most successful play in Broadway history.

Celebrity Attractions has announced its 2023-2024 Broadway Season and it is one that is fit for a Queen!  We open in August with COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world in a time of tragedy.  The smash Broadway hit, SIX, commands the stage in October with Henry VIII's wives remixing the history into a pop concert that will make you lose your head!  

The Cleveland Orchestra announced updates to its inaugural Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival: The American Dream, which takes place this spring at Severance Music Center and with Cleveland partner organizations.

Thompson Turner Productions, the venerable Broadway and touring general management and producing office, becomes TT Partners, effective April 19. Co-Founder David Turner is joined by general managers Rebecca Habel and Adam Miller as partners in the new entity. 

Broadway Dallas has announced the 2023 nominees for the 12th Annual Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards (HSMTA). The awards ceremony will take place live at the Music Hall at Fair Park on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Tickets will go on sale May 3 at 10 a.m.   

BroadwayWorld has learned that NETworks will launch a Non-Equity tour of Mean Girls which is currently set to begin performances in September 2023, following the closure of the Equity tour next month. The union tour will play its final performance on May 7th, 2023 at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center.

In The Trenches: A Parenting Musical, with book, music, and lyrics by Graham & Kristina Fuller, will receive industry readings on Friday, March 24th at 11am & 3pm at Ripley Grier Studios.

Featuring dynamic choreography from director Casey Nicholaw and new songs from Fey's hubby Jeff Richmond and lyricist Nell Benjamin, this stage adaptation of the cult hit movie (that will also soon be re-adapted into a movie musical) admirably recreates its quote-heavy 'fetch'-ness and anthropological commentary for the social media age.

Boston Court world premieres Rosie Narasaki’s Unrivaled beginning March 16, 2023. Boston Court Associate Artistic Director Margaret Shigeko Starbuck directs this co-production with Playwrights’ Arena featuring: David Huynh, Katie Kitani, Cindy Nguyen and Chelsea Yakura-Kurtz. Jenna Fischer has joined the cast of the Mean Girls movie musical. Fischer will play Ms. Heron, Cady Heron's mom. She joins the previously announced Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Angourie Rice, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, and Reneé Rapp reprising her Broadway role as Regina George.

The FSCJ Artist Series has announced that single tickets for the First National Tour of Mean Girls— the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film—is coming to the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts on April 20th through April 25th.
