The annual Ballet Icons Gala in London has been organised by Ensemble Productions since 2006. The Gala's programmes pay tribute to the traditions of the legendary Russian and other most prominent ballet schools and its legendary dancers who have been inspiring the ballet world and ballet lovers for centuries.

Radial Theater Project and 18th & Union will present a live stage production of George Orwell's 1984, opening February 21, 2020 at 18th & Union in Seattle's Central District.

As part of Carnegie Hall's 2020-2021 season, announced on January 28, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will perform three programs on October 26, 2020, and April 14 and 15, 2021, led by BSO Music Director Andris Nelsons. These programs will also be featured in the BSO's 2020-2021 season at Symphony Hall in Boston. Mr. Nelsons and the BSO will announce complete details of the 2020-21 season in April.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announcd the return of the internationally acclaimed Vienna Piano Trio on February 29, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. Celebrated for its finesse, exuberance, tonal allure, and irresistible panache, the Vienna Piano Trio has been regarded as one of the world's leading chamber ensembles. The renowned trio performs a program of Haydn, Ravel and Mendelssohn. Members include David McCarroll, violin; Clemens Hagen, cello; and Stefan Mendl, piano.

Third Street Music School Settlement presents 20-21 Vision- their annual new music festival that traces the heritage of contemporary composers through links to the great 20th century masters. This year the focus is on Paul Hindemith, who, like Third Street, is celebrating his 125th anniversary. Composer and Hindemith student Yehudi Wyner will be on hand to discuss Hindemith's legacy, his influence on his own work and on others. Mr. Wyner will be among the performers is a concert of his music spanning seven decades.

West Side Story is officially in previews on Broadway! The new production is directed by Tony Award winner Ivo van Hove; and for the first time ever in the United States, will feature all-new choreography by the internationally acclaimed Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. West Side Story will begin previews on December 10, 2019 and open February 6th, 2020 at the Broadway Theatre.

I am often asked what my all time favorite Broadway musical is. I always reply A Chorus Line. I consider it to be a perfect musical in every way. The show's original director/choreographer Michael Bennett captured the heart and soul of the dancer so beautifully in what I consider to be his masterwork. Marvin Hamlisch's music and Edward Kleban's lyrics were and still are one of the most inventive theatre scores ever written. James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante's book (based off of taped interviews of Broadway dancers conducted by Bennett) frame the songs to sheer perfection. Paul's monologue in the show is actually based on Dante's true story.
