Early Music Vancouver (EMV) commences its 50th Anniversary Season with Le Concert Spirituel: Baroque Orchestral Suites on September 28, 2019 at 7:30pm at Christ Church Cathedral. Famed LA-punk band T.S.O.L. has dropped a new single. Entitled “Is This A Wonderful World?” the track serves as their take on the Louis Armstrong classic “What A Wonderful World” complete with string section and amended lyrics. A video (directed by Trevor Ward) premiered on Alternative Press who said 'The new TSOL single and its unconventional release are either the least punk thing the band have done in their 41-year history—or maybe the most.'

Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and DJ Bonebrake will join The Damnedfor two co-headline dates; in Chicago on May 30, as well as an appearance at the Orange County Fair in California on July 6. Additional summer tour dates announced below will feature an exciting variety of supporting acts such as Dead Rock West, Skating Polly, Folk Ukeand the Reverend Horton Heat. Many recall Electric Light Orchestra as a powerhouse stadium and arena band who toured between 1971 and 1986. ELO Part 2 then toured from 1990 through 2000. In 2001 ELO Part 2 changed names and started performing as THE ORCHESTRA. Still performing all the unmistakable ELO hit songs, THE ORCHESTRA returns to the State Theatre on Saturday, March 2nd.
