Original Theatre Company's recent critically acclaimed, innovative online production of Rachel Wagstaff's adaptation of Sebastian Faulks's best-selling novel Birdsong has spurred the company on to produce another online production while theatres remain closed to live performances.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced its newly created virtual audition intensive. Developed and led by Arena Stage's Community Engagement department, the online intensive prepares students and artists ages 16-22 for careers in theater with group and private coaching sessions in audition techniques.

This summer, we're sadly not going to be seeing all the outdoor theatre that we've loved in past years - whether at venues like Regent's Park and Shakespeare's Globe or dedicated festivals and other open-air arts gatherings.
