Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center will brighten January with its annual Gala. Light Up The Night will once again give audiences an incredible event to celebrate Uptown. Berkshire Theatre Group has announced the 2023 winter and spring season at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield. A magical roster of international music, dance, legendary recording artists and family holiday cheer makes for a most remarkable holiday season at Segerstrom Center for the Arts.

Recorded at United Recording in Los Angeles, CA, the twelve-track album was produced, engineered and mixed by Dan Knobler (Judy Collins, Allison Russell) and features arrangements from Jacob Zimmerman. All songs were written by Vilray except for the 1930’s classic “Goodnight My Love,” which was written by Mack Gordon and Harry Revel.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts announces the return of SoCal's favorite holiday tradition - American Ballet Theatre's captivating production of The Nutcracker.  Co-presented by the Center and ABT with choreography by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, The Nutcracker is the beloved holiday story based on The Nutcracker and the King of Mice written by E.T.A. Hoffmann and set to a magical score by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky that will be performed live by Pacific Symphony.

From November 9 - 19 JACK will be home to all things radical — radical joy, radical mayhem, radical vulnerability, and radical confrontations with today's pressing issues.

On Saturday, November 12th at 8 pm, ten-time Academy Award-winning masterpiece, The Godfather, will be screened and performed with a 61-piece orchestra in celebration of the iconic film's 50th anniversary, produced by CineConcerts and presented by Massimo Gallotta Productions.

The World Choreography Awards will be held on November 15, 2022 at the Avalon Hollywood. Being its twelfth year in existence, I spoke with Allen Walls, Creator and Producer of the World Choreography Awards to catch up with this now seasoned Presentation and how it has been evolving through the years. I have reviewed the event in the past and it is a unique evening whose purpose is to present, celebrate and honor the best Choreographed Dance pieces or segments for the year in a now myriad of categories. It has also built upon it's live presentation and quality of live performances, special guests and hosting of the highest caliber.
