This week's brand new episode is with Sound Designer Jessica Paz! Jessica shares with us wild tales from her summers at the Delecorte Theatre with stories and insights from her recent designs for 'Othello' and 'Twelfth Night' as well how the sound department battles wind, rain, helicopters and yes raccoons.

Westport Country Playhouse will stage "Man of La Mancha," the Tony Award-winning musical about Don Quixote's quest for "The Impossible Dream," from September 25 through October 13.  Directed by Mark Lamos, Westport Country Playhouse artistic director, the story of Quixote's battle for good and the love of his fair maiden is written by Dale Wasserman, with music by Mitch Leigh, and lyrics by Joe Darion.

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music celebrates the 50th anniversary of its legendary Musical Theatre program with a Birthday Cabaret at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 in Patricia Corbett Theater. Featuring the program's first graduate Pamela Myers, our newest stars of tomorrow and star performers from Broadway and beyond, the Birthday Cabaret promises to be a tuneful and invigorating tribute to 50 years of CCM Musical Theatre excellence.

From Monday 10 September 2018, Duncan James will join the West End cast of CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre, playing the role of Billy Flynn, a role he originally played in 2008. He will join Alexandra Burke as Roxie Hart, Josefina Gabrielle as Velma Kelly, Mazz Murray as Mama Morton and Paul Rider as Amos Hart.

Built in 1913 as the flagship for the big time vaudeville circuit run by E.F. Albee and Martin Beck, manager of the Western Vaudeville Managers Association, the Palace was the perfect showplace for the biggest of big time vaudeville during the last two decades of its existence.

Casting is now complete for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Annie. REPRISE 2.0 (led by Producing Artistic Director Marcia Seligson), in association with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Department of Theater (UCLA TFT) chaired by Brian Kite, presents its inaugural production of Sweet Charity.  Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall with musical direction by Gerald Sternbach, the classic Broadway hit plays through July 1 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Yesterday, June 19, Actors' Equity Association, the labor union for professional stage actors and stage managers, presented the 2018 Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Award to the chorus of Once on This Island. The award, established in 2007, is given to what the committee votes on as the outstanding Broadway chorus of the season.

California Shakespeare Theater continues its 44th Season with the West Coast Premiere of Everybody, a sparkling new riff on the 15th-century morality play The Summoning of Everyman by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, whom the New York Times calls "one of this country's most original and illuminating writers.' A finalist for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Everybody is Cal Shakes' second official offering under the New Classics Initiative (NCI), exploring what it means to be a classical theater in the 21st century, and to allow living writers to expand our classical canon. Directed by Nataki Garrett making her Cal Shakes debut, Everybody plays July 18 - August 5 at the Bruns Amphitheater in Orinda. Low-priced previews take place July 18-20; Opening Night is July 21. A brand new stage production of the musical Summer Holiday is set to tour the UK and will play for a week in Darlington from Tuesday 25 September. Based on the iconic 1960's film of the same name, starring Cliff Richard and The Shadows, Summer Holiday will include all of the number one hits from the movie, plus some additional Cliff Richard classics.

Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the twelfth annual "ACCA" Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

Reese Witherspoon Confirms LEGALLY BLONDE 3 with nostalgic social media video!

According to Deadline, MGM is near a deal with Reese Witherspoon to reprise her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde 3, along with the majority of the creative team from the first film.

Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell is going full out these days. Not only is he directing and choreographing the original musical, Half Time, at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, but he's also about to begin rehearsals as the director and choreographer for Broadway's Pretty Woman.

Beginning today, A BRONX TALE will offer a limited number of $32 tickets via a digital lottery for select performances at the Longacre Theatre(220 West 48th Street).
