Actors' Equity Association just presented Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 with the ninth annual "ACCA" Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

Before appearing in front of the entire world on MTV's 2008 LEGALLY BLONDE casting series, actress Autumn Hurlbert had been honing her stage skills since childhood. And, although she came up second in the televised competition (still receiving a contract in the Broadway production!), Autumn left the show certain of her drive to create art without the need for fame. Everyone's favorite TV family will be singing and dancing their way across the stage this summer when Happy Days - The Musical opens at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the area's only year-round producing theatre.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and CPA Theatricals present Numbers Nerds, the [almost] all-girl math challenge, with book by Laura Stratford, Music by David Kornfeld, lyrics by Alex Higgin-Houser, additional music by Dylan MarcAurele and original story by Larry Little.  Amber Mak, New Works Development Director at Chicago's Paramount Theatre, directs and choreographs a cast of six, including Danielle Davila, Madison Kauffman, Jake Morrissy, Maisie Rose, Sharon Sachs (Film: 'Home Alone;'  TV: 'Weeds,' 'Dexter,' 'Grimm') and Tiffany Tatreau (Ride the Cyclone). Six performances will be staged at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street, New York City from July 19-23, 2017.

Jamie Wilson and Gavin Kalin have announced that Charlotte Wakefield will play 'Polly' in the national tour of the Watermill Theatre's acclaimed production of 'CRAZY FOR YOU'. Charlotte joins the previously announced Tom Chambers as 'Bobby' and Caroline Flack as 'Irene'. 'CRAZY FOR YOU' opens at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth on 17 August 2017.

From Monday 12 June 2017, there will be major cast changes at the West End production of "LES MISERABLES" at the Queen's Theatre, which is now in its record breaking 33rd year.

EastEnders' Rita Simon, Lucie Jones, who is representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest with 'Never Give Up On You' on Saturday May 13, and Bill Ward (Coronation Street and Emmerdale) are to star in a major new UK tour of  the smash-hit Broadway and West End musical Legally Blonde The Musical.

George Street Playhouse has announced full casting for Curvy Widow, starring Broadway's Nancy Opel (GSP's The Toxic Avenger, Broadway's Honeymoon in Vegas). The sassy musical comedy will not only close out GSP's 2016-17 season, but also mark the final show performed in the Playhouse's current building. Curvy Widow runs May 2-21, 2017, with opening night scheduled for May 5th, 2017.
