Patrick Daly of Caledonia Productions has announced the forthcoming opening of the world première of a new musical Wild Rose, written by Nicole Taylor (Three Girls, The C Word, The Nest) and directed by John Tiffany (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Black Watch).

The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical comedy, about a musical within a comedy, featuring music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. With a book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, this musical tells the story of a fictional 1928 musical. The story itself centers around a character, 'Man in Chair,' as he describes to the audience his trepidations in life and this overwhelming feeling of sadness and foreboding which he calls 'Blue.' So over the course of two hours the 'Man in Chair,' takes the audience on a journey using the only thing he knows that will cheer him up, his love of Musical Theatre tunes, specifically classics such as The Drowsy Chaperone.

Skylarks On Tap is coming to the Chapel Theatre in Milwaukie, OR, this November. This is the Skylark Tappers' 15th full-length concert, and is their first production since Fall of 2019. The Skylarks will perform a variety of rhythm tap and show tap pieces, danced to live music ranging from jazz to Latin.

Atlantic Theater Company has announced casting for the world premiere production of The Far Country, an Atlantic commissioned play by Guggenheim fellow Lloyd Suh, directed by Obie Award winner Eric Ting.

Chair Jeff Davis currently leads MCB's board.
