Following a sold-out and critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021, Mediocre White Male returns to London, with a run at the King's Head Theatre with performances from 15 August – 2 September, with a press night on Wednesday 17 August.

Based on the book by Craig Lucas and inspired by the seven-time Academy Award-winning 1952 musical comedy film, An American in Paris brings the legendary music of George and Ira Gershwin to the stage from August 3rd -13th. Featuring such classics as “I Got Rhythm,” “S’Wonderful” and “Shall We Dance”, this marks the show’s debut performance on a Cape Cod theater’s stage. With a timeless story and unforgettable characters, audiences have something quite special to look forward to this August.

A popular stage actor best known for being quirkily funny in musicals (Off-Broadway in March Of The Falsettos, on Broadway in Romance, Romance, The Secret Garden and Gypsy), Fraser reinvents a classic character and turns in a performance that thrills with its gutsy power masked by her character's well-rehearsed elegance.

This dazzlingly hallucinatory show featuring actors playing in a live animation is a tribute to silent film. The director calls it ‘a silent movie by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’ inspired – one might add – by 18th-century chalcography, Yellow Submarine, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, and superhero comics, to name just a few obvious references. It is an amazing show, an operatic joyride.

Often cited as one of the best movie musicals ever made, the 1952 romantic comedy Singin’ In The Rain, starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds, has a special place in many people's hearts. It was first adapted for the West End stage in 1983 and since then there have been multiple productions. The current UK tour is a revival of the 2012 London production and is a faithful recreation of the movie, following Betty Comden and Adolph Green's screenplay almost to the letter and including all the songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed that originally featured. If there's a scene, a line or even a visual gag that you love in the film, chances are it's also in the stage adaptation.

TheatriKids, the education wing of Flagstaff's community theatre, Theatrikos, has announced it's first performance workshop production of the summer of 2022, Anastasia the Musical.

There were many highlights in this show, but memorable for me were Clint’s haunting vocal and narrative for “Nature Boy” and Stritch’s wistful rendition of “Somewhere Along The Way.'

Last night on the Wick stage these celebrated entertainers presented their tribute to Nat King Cole titled “Straighten Up and Fly Right” and it was a masterclass in musical expertise and show biz excitement.
