Mr. Saturday Night, co-written by and starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, officially begins previews tonight, March 29, 2022. The show will officially open on April 27, 2022 at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). Meet the cast bringing the show to Broadway here!

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Karen Mason in her show “Kander & Ebb…And All That Jazz” on Monday, March 28 at 7:00 PM. The evening honors John Kander and Fred Ebb, the Tony Award-winning songwriters behind Broadway’s Cabaret, Chicago and more.

BIRDLAND will present drag legend Coco Peru in the new show “Bitter Bothered & Beyond!” for two special performances. The first show at Birdland Jazz Club on Monday, March 21 at 7:00 PM quickly sold out, so an encore performance has been added for Tuesday, March 22 at 8:30 PM downstairs at the Birdland Theater.

The State Theatre in Easton has announced new shows for the 2021-2022 Season, along with a sneak peek of what’s to come next season! A tribute to adolescent angst and nerd revenge fantasies, MEAN GIRLS is a satisfying, hilarious musical adaptation of Tina Fey's 2004 comedy. It's an entertaining (if guilty) pleasure propelled by superb video design, skilled comedians all over the stage, and its fun (if disposable) score. The hit musical has resumed its National Tour, re-premiering in Tempe's Gammage Auditorium and the energy in the theatre is palpable. The performers are clearly bursting to perform and the audience is eager to watch.

While the show would not be a direct spinoff of the Ellen Degeneres Show, it would be the new Warner Bros. flagship daytime talk show once Degeneres' program concludes. The test run was recently shot on Ellen's stage and is currently being pitched to different television station groups.

Ahead of a new Christmas album for 2021, the first song has been released. The song is a mashup, including Happiness (Is Christmas), a reworked song from the musical You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, for which Chenoweth won a Tony Award in 1999. The song is mashed up with Christmas Time Is Here, which was featured in the film A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The production, directed by Meg Fofonoff, will stream for five performances from July 23-25 on the ticketing platform, Stellar.
