We had the opportunity to chat with Gavin Lee, who returns to the role of Monsieur Thénardier after playing him on Broadway from March 2015 to May 2016 in the most recent revival. COAL MINE THEATRE will get their 10th anniversary season underway with one of the most hotly anticipated shows of the fall season, the Canadian Premiere of Annie Baker’s most recent play, INFINITE LIFE, on stage September 6 – September 29 at the company’s Danforth home.

A new musical, Particle Fever, based on the 2013 documentary film about the largest scientific experiment ever undertaken, is currently in development. The musical is written by David Henry Hwang, includes new music and lyrics by Bear McCreary and Zoe Sarnak, is directed by Leigh Silverman, and produced by Megan Kingery and Annie Roney.
