Producer Suzi Dietz announced today that on the heels of its successful run in Los Angeles, Miss America's Ugly Daughter written and performed by Bess Myerson's only child, Barra Grant, will open in New York this winter. Miss America's Ugly Daughter is a darkly comedic, poignant two character solo show about the seismic mother-daughter relationship of Bess Myerson and Barra Grant and will be directed by Eve Brandstein.

This fall, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, will offer a plethora of museum education and creative arts programming apt for all ages.  Bethel Woods serves thousands annually and offers programs for children, families, teens and adults. These immersive and enriching programs focus on inspiring creativity and thoughtfulness through fun.

The Frist Art Museum presents Eric Carle's Picture Books: Celebrating 50 Years of a?oeThe Very Hungry Caterpillar,a?? an exhibition of more than one hundred original artworks by one of the most acclaimed and beloved illustrators of our time. Drawn from the Collection of Eric and Barbara Carle and organized by The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, Massachusetts, the exhibition will be on display from October 18, 2019, through February 23, 2020.

Los Angeles-based, female rock icons, Cherie Currie and Brie Darling have announced the initial dates for their first-ever tour together.  The tour, in support of their recently released new album The Motivator is set to kick off in Las Vegas on November 8.  The month long trek will weave through major markets including Chicago, Philadelphia and New York as well as some Canadian dates.   All dates will go on sale Friday, September 6  at 8 AM PST/11 AM EST.
