JOHN LODGE, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, has added a special symphony show to serve as the finale of his previously announced winter 2023 US tour, “Performs Days of Future Passed.”  LODGE will perform with the Coachella Valley Symphony on March 26.

LODGE, together with his 10,000 Light Years Band and the Coachella Valley Symphony, will perform The Moody Blues’ iconic Days of Future Passed album—which marked its 55th anniversary on November 10, 2022—in its entirety, with a special recording by the late Graeme Edge and performances by Jon Davison of YES.

Harlem Stage has announced full programming for Spring 2023, continuing its Black Arts Movement: Examined series examining the 1960s/70s cultural movement led by Black artists, activists, and intellectuals.

The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others. Legendary blues-rock guitarist and vocalist Coco Montoya will feature songs from his latest Alligator Records release, HARD TRUTH. He's currently at work on a new album due later this year. Tinsley Ellis is among the blues world's best loved, hardest working and most well-traveled statesmen. Ellis' latest release, 2018's WINNING HAND, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. The two 'Blues Rock Titans' will also join forces each night for an unforgettable jam session. Concert information is as follows:

The Los Angeles Philharmonic and Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel ushered in the orchestra's Centennial season with a celebratory Opening Night Concert & Gala, California Soul, Thursday, September 27, 7 pm, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The festive evening featured singers Chris Martin of Coldplay, who brought Dudamel and the LA Phil's YOLA musicians to the 2016 Super Bowl, and Corinne Bailey Rae, who performed at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this year.
