Two of the most successful and critically acclaimed rock bands REO Speedwagon and Chicago - who have sold 140 million records combined - announced today a co-headline North American summer tour kicking off June 13, 2018 in Concord, CA. The 30+ date tour, promoted by Live Nation, will take the multi-platinum selling groups through major cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Atlanta and Nashville for a night of unforgettable live music. The tour will conclude August 12 in Detroit, MI.

The San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) released the detailed performance schedule for the 2018 Program today. Forty different artist ensembles and companies will present their work exclusively at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) from May 24 - June 3. Early Bird Tickets will go on sale for $15 on Thursday March 1.

In the small Swedish town of N rje near S lvesborg, on July 9, 2016, in front of an audience of thousands, four American musicians gave a blistering performance that would encapsulate five decades of rock'n'roll history. World-class rhythm and blues/ boogie-woogie pianist Jools Holland has become a British institution over the last 25 plus years, having achieved worldwide acclaim as host of the immensely popular Later....With Jools Holland on BBC Two Television since its debut in 1992. Holland will now perform live in New York City, his first U.S. performance in more than 15 years, at the legendary Blue Note.

The McAninch Arts Center (MAC) is pleased to present a free concert by The New Lionel Hampton Big Band with Jason Marsalis, Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. This incredible band featuring world-class musicians who played with the legendary Lionel Hampton will perform a memorable mix of jazz, swing and bebop. This concert was originally scheduled for the Lakeside Pavilion this past summer as part of the WDCB LIVE Jazz Concert Series but was cancelled due to the impact of poor weather on the band's air travel. The rescheduled concert is presented in partnership with WDCB 90.9 FM Public Radio from College of DuPage. There are no advance reservations. The box office will begin to hand out tickets at the MAC day of show, starting at 2 p.m.

One of the most influential accordionists and vocalists in modern Zydeco music, Jeffery Broussard continues to be one of the genre's most dynamic performers. He has continually been an innovator, beginning his career with traditional Creole Zydeco music playing drums in his father's band, Delton Broussard & The Lawtell Playboys, then moving on to develop the nouveau Zydeco sound in Zydeco Force, now returning to the more traditional Zydeco sound with his own band, Jeffery Broussard and The Creole Cowboys.
