Shubert Theatre (Broadway)
225 West 44th St. New York, NY
Celebrity Autobiography is the 90-minute (give or take a few laughs) international hit comedy sensation featuring a constantly-expanding rotating cast of today's celebrities from TV, film and stage, sports, and, yes, even politics, acting out OTHER celebrities’ unintentionally hilarious autobiographies live on Broadway. It’s “a merry compendium of the witlessness of the rich and famous,” says The New York Times, and audiences agree, “We couldn’t make this stuff up!”
In addition to solo excerpts, the show combines passages from various autobiographies to create unforgettable ensemble "mash-ups" that ping-pong into riotously funny "he said, she said" scenarios, famous love triangles, and wildly different takes on the same experience.
Most stars appear for a week or two at a time, some just for a night or two, and surprise guests can be expected to pop in from time to time.
At Celebrity Autobiography, every night is a surprise!

'Celebrity Autobiography' Broadway review — award-winning comedy show returns to NYC for its latest chapter
6 / 10
At the Shubert Theatre on Broadway, a bit less so. The conceit of the comedy revue, developed and directed by Eugene Pack and Dayle Rayfel, is simple: celebs read bits of other celebs' memoirs that weren't meant to be funny but are, whether for being excessively detailed, oozing ego, or else just so badly written it's comical. More accurately, Celebrity Autobiography is intermittently comical, with much of the material intact from the show's Off-Broadway premiere in 2008. To those who know who Neil Sedaka and Suzanne Somers are, it may feel timeless; to those who've watched Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus mature from when they released their first memoirs as teenagers, it may feel dated.

The phrases “low hanging fruit,” “hit or miss” and “luck of the draw” come to mind as one not very funny moment after another counts down to the end of the 90-minute Celebrity Autobiography, the much-staged oddity finally making its Broadway debut tonight.
