Jellicle cats, come one, come all! The long-awaited film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's classic musical Cats is coming to movie theaters this December, and we can barely contain our excitement to see Grizabella, Rum Tug Tugger, Old Deuteronomy, and more come to the big screen. To get you all ready to see the Jellicle Ball on screen and celebrate International Cat Day, we've gathered all the info you need to know about the movie, from the casting to behind-the-scenes info. Adam Blanshay Productions today announces the first UK Tour of What's In A Name?, adapted and directed by Jeremy Sams from the award-winning French film and stage sensation, Le Prenom, by Matthew Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patelliere. Internationally acclaimed comedy, What's In A Name? hilariously captures a particularly awkward family dinner party. The cast will star Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners, Fresh Meat), James Lance (Jeeves and Wooster, Northern Soul), Summer Strallen (Top Hat, Young Frankenstein) and Alex Gaumond (Company, Dirty Rotten Scoundrel, Matilda). Dreamy gazey indie space rockers Slowness present their video for 'Sand & Stone', the latest single from their 'Berths' album. The video was directed by Oliver Ousterhout and shot in Half Moon Bay, California. This follows the first two singles off this album: 'Berlin' and 'Rose'. This is a vinyl and digital release via Schoolkids Records.

Wizard rock pioneers Harry and the Potters (Paul and Joe DeGeorge), have officially released their first full-length album since 2006: Lumos. Using the magic of rock and roll, Lumos chronicles the events of the seventh and final Harry Potter book where J.K. Rowling's teen wizard and his friends are on the run from a xenophobic, authoritarian regime and must work diligently to take down a dark wizard who capitalizes on fear and emboldens supremacist wizards. In other words, the subject matter of Lumos is extremely relevant. Harry and the Potters also just kicked off their first national tour of libraries since 2011 in support of the new album. Lumos was first announced to Harry and the Potters' fans with a Kickstarter campaign on April 23rd, doubling its funding goal within 24 hours of launch. 

FEINSTEIN'S54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Chris Stevens in "Livin' the Dream" on Friday, July 12 at 9:30PM. Chris Stevens ecstatically returns to Feinstein's54 Below after debuting his first solo show "UNWRITTEN" two and half years ago.

New York Theater Festival's SUMMERFEST presents Emergency, a modern-day medical musical by father-son creative team Jeff and Jacob Foy, featuring a talented cast of Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional theater performers. This summer Goodspeed Musicals will produce the heartwarming new musical Because of Winn Dixie. This touching tale based on the award-winning novel by Kate DiCamillo will run June 28 - September 1 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

I had the pleasure of seeing A Bronx Tale with my friend Cassy, who had NEVER seen a musical before! (I know, right?!) I invited Cassy because the 1993 movie, off which the musical is based, is her favorite. Seriously, her cat is named Calogero, after the lead character in both the movie and the play. I was excited to see this show, and especially excited to see it through the eyes of a neophyte theater goer. I was not disappointed!
