Neo-soul Quintet Shookrah Shares Visuals For 'Flex'

Ireland-based five-piece Shookrah has shared their brand new single 'Flex' on 30th November via Broken Records, as well as a new accompanying music video. This single release follows on from their track 'Don't Wanna Doubt You', shared in May this year, and continues the trajectory of a highly successful year of writing and recording for Shookrah. The five-piece has already sparked international interest from a host of tastemaker publications, including Afropunk, CLASH Mag, Wonderland Magazine, JOE.ie, Irish Examiner, GoldenPlec and The Irish Times and have also enjoyed radio play on shows such as BBC Ulster's Across The Line. The Irish Times crowned Shookrah, 'Best Irish Act of 2017' and '50 People to Watch in 2018' while GoldenPlec named them one of their Plec Picks for 2016. The band has also been dominating the live music scene, playing headlining shows at Quarter Block Party, Wigwam and K-Fest as well as supporting music legends Billy Ocean and Theo Katzman (Vulfpeck) on their Irish tours. The Madison Square Garden Company announced today the unprecedented 64th consecutive show by legendary musician and MSG franchise, Billy Joel, on Thursday, May 9, 2019. The May show, on Joel's 70th birthday, is part of his residency at The World's Most Famous Arena which began in January 2014 with him playing one show per month at The Garden. Today with the help of Billboard and CMT, rising country star Levi Hummon debuted the official music video for “I Still Do” from his latest EP, Patient. The track has already seen success, having been featured on various playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube Music, and Pandora.  The video for “I Still Do” was brought to life by CeCe Dawson of RareSpark Media Group and was filmed in East Nashville. All three concerts are sold out and will feature Rob Mathes, his all-star band, his choir of 'Saints and Friends' and special guests Sting, Vanessa Williams and David Sanborn who will join Rob for a few holiday-themed songs at the Performing Arts Center. Black Fret Announces 2018 Grant Recipients At The Fifth Annual Black Fret Ball
