Birdland has announced its upcoming May program!

Music Director Osmo V nsk and the Grammy Award-winning Minnesota Orchestra today unveiled plans for the ensemble's 2019-20 season, which runs from September 2019 to June 2020, and includes Classical, Holiday, Live at Orchestra Hall, Chamber Music, Music and Mindfulness, Young People's Concerts, and Sensory-Friendly and Relaxed Family Concerts.

Inspired by The Beatles' ground-breaking 1967 album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Mark Morris Dance Group's Pepperland arrives at Birmingham Hippodrome on 26 & 27 March.

The one and only Violent Femmes have announced plans for a co-headline tour with the legendary X, set to get underway May 5th at Humphrey's in San Diego, CA. Violent Femmes will perform at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, NV and BeachLife in Redondo Beach, CA ahead of the co-headline dates. On Thursday night, Roundabout Theatre Company brought Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, True West, back to Broadway, continuing the legacy of the late playwright's work.
