Brian Conley will star as Ebenezer Scrooge this Christmas, as an exciting new, musical staged concert of Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent's A Christmas Carol will play a strictly limited season at the Dominion Theatre in London. Performances run from Monday 7 December 2020 to Saturday 2 January 2021.

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier today, Disney Theatrical Productions has just announced that Frozen will not return to Broadway when theatre comes back, but the Disney magic will continue in other projects. According to the New York Times, development continues for a new Beauty and the Beast, which is aiming to open in the US in 2022; a new version of Aida, which will open in Germany in 2022; and a fully musicalized version of Hercules.
