A new track “Morocco” has been released from Almost Famous – Original Cast Recording. The song, performed by Solea Pfeiffer and Casey Likes, features music by Tom Kitt with lyrics by Cameron Crowe and Tom Kitt.

On Tuesday, September 13, nine record stores in New York City will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the original 2000 film, Almost Famous, with an Almost Famous-inspired vinyl selection of records curated by Cameron Crowe, Academy Award-winning director, writer and co-lyricist of the new Broadway musical of the same title.

Open Stage, a professional theatre company in downtown Harrisburg, will present Jolene: A Dolly Parton Song Cycle on its Studio Theatre stage Sept. 8-18, with a special additional outdoor performance at Italian Lake on Sunday, Sept. 11.
