What did our critic think of CHICAGO at The Orpheum Theatre Memphis? Chicago is celebrating 25 dazzling years and it has returned to Memphis! It is certainly a fan favorite, with exhilirating dancing and an iconic story that is known around the world. The 1975 musical with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, is the 2nd longest running Broadway musical (thanks to the 1996 revival), behind fan favorite Phantom of the Opera.

Pianist Jon Michael Ogletree will be performing '100 Years of Music' on Sunday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Husson University's Gracie Theatre. The program features classic songs from every decade. Starting with popular music from the 1920's with arrangements inspired by Gershwin, audience members will be treated to a chronological progression of some of the past century's most iconic songs. The concert will conclude with present day hits, including songs by Jason Mraz and Alicia Keys.

What did our critic think of AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' at Geva Theatre? A student production of Paula Vogel’s acclaimed, Tony-nominated play INDECENT, was abruptly canceled by the administration of a public arts high school in Duval County, Florida last week.   The Duval County Public Schools cited what it described as “adult sexual dialogue” in the play’s portrayal of a same-sex love story as the reason for the cancellation of the production at the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.

The piece was scheduled to be re-mounted November 10-27, 2022 and will now take stage June 1-18, 2023.
