Shutdown has announced the band’s upcoming U.S. Midwest and UK/EU touring that will span July and August. Kicking off on July 2 in Columbus, OH, the band will also be performing in Kansas City, MO, St. Louis, MO, Jacksonville, IL and Jonesboro, AR through July 6.

Composer and author Tina Davidson’s memoir, Let Your Heart Be Broken, will be available in audiobook format on all major platforms starting August 12, 2025.The audiobook, read by Davidson herself, features her music woven throughout, interspersed in sections where she discusses the compositions’ creation.

The Cover of Life, by R.T. Robinson, is based on his family’s true story about three women and their struggle for self-worth in rural Louisiana in 1943. Tood, Weetsie and Sybill each married a Cliffert brother who are engaged in World War II. A local reporter with the Louisiana Times Picayune writes story about these young wives, which piques the interest of Life Magazine’s Henry Luce. Luce assigns Kate Miller to the story, who has been covering the war in Europe. Kate spends a week with the Cliffert women to cover their life while the men are away, and unexpectedly explores the reality of the women as they struggle to find their own identity.  The piece is so well written, with complex characters working through intricate relationships, delicious subtext, prose filled with images and powerful emotions, strong rhythm, and subtle humor.

Ahead of the Tony Awards this Sunday, for which Audra McDonald is honored with her eleventh nomination, she sat down with CBS's Gayle King to shed light on the production and her take on the famed Broadway role. Watch the full interview now.

Twenty-five years into the 21st century and Broadway has already seen multiple revivals of Glengarry Glen Ross, Our Town, Romeo and Juliet, Gypsy, and Sunset Boulevard. 

Jerry Harrison doesn’t have too many regrets in his musical career. The Talking Heads’ keyboardist, who was in town to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band’s landmark film STOP MAKING SENSE May 4 at the Southern Theatre (21 E. Main Street in downtown Columbus), is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his bandmates in 2002 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2021.

Casting is complete and rehearsals are now underway for Theater Latté Da's production of PASSION, the Tony Award-winning dark romance with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, based on the film Passione d'Amore directed by Ettore Scola.
