Today Hippo Campus share the new video for their track “Honestly,” off of their latest album Bambi and announce a Fall tour. Described by the band as “A snapshot into the shenanigans we get into on the road' the video goes behind the scenes to give a glimpse of what touring life is like on the road. The band have just announced more dates with The Head And The Heart later this summer and will play several major festivals including The Governors Ball this weekend followed Bonnaroo, Firefly and more. The Axelrod Performing Arts Center reunites with Luis Salgado and the team from Salgado Productions for their third collaboration, "Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA," opening May 31, 2019. Previously for the theater, Salgado directed and choreographed "In the Heights" in 2017 and "Ragtime The Musical" in 2018, both of which received nominations for best regional production of a musical.

Sundance Institute, in collaboration with A24, invites fans and supporters of independent cinema to celebrate writer/director Lulu Wang with a special premiere screening of her film The Farewell and afterparty at The Theatre at Ace Hotel DTLA on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Wang, an alumna of Sundance Institute's 2017 FilmTwo Initiative, will be honored with the Institute's annual Vanguard Award presented by Acura at the summer benefit. Proceeds from the evening will advance Sundance Institute's mission and programs that discover, support and amplify risk-taking and exciting independent artists across film, theatre and media.

Compagnia de' Colombari, an international collective of performing artists founded and directed by Karin Coonrod, presents More Or Less I Am: a music-theater piece drawn entirely from Walt Whitman's revolutionary free verse long poem, 'Song of Myself,'one of the original twelve pieces that comprise his 1855 collection Leaves of Grass. The next performance in this series, spanning multiple venues throughout the five boroughs, will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2019, 7:30 pm at Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn.
