Fox Announces Midseason Premiere Dates

FOX is announcing premiere dates for THE ORVILLE (Dec. 30), GORDON RAMSAY'S 24 HOURS TO HELL AND BACK (Jan. 2), GOTHAM (Jan. 3) and PROVEN INNOCENT (Feb. 15), as well as the all-new COSMOS installment, COSMOS: POSSIBLE WORLDS (March 3). As previously announced, new celebrity singing competition THE MASKED SINGER will premiere Jan. 2, new epic thriller THE PASSAGE will premiere Jan. 14 and all-new live musical event RENT will air Jan. 27.

Birbiglia, who is about to star on Broadway in 'The New One,' talks to Jimmy about living in Brooklyn and taking his show to Broadway. Birbliglia also brings up how Jimmy crying at the end of his show! Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director), recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award in 2016, launches its 80th milestone season with The Color Purple, directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle. The Color Purple is the Tony Award-winning musical revival based upon the novel written by Alice Walker and the Warner Bros./Amblin Entertainment motion picture with a book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis, and Stephen Bray. Today, Amazon Prime Video released the key art and official series trailer for the highly anticipated original contemporary anthology series, The Romanoffs, set to premiere on Friday, October 12 with new episodes released weekly, on Fridays. This is the first anthology series for Amazon Prime Video that will roll out on a weekly basis. The Romanoffs will be available initially in the original version in over 200 countries and territories, with dubbed foreign language versions coming in early 2019.
