This November, in Juilliard School's Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Anne Manson will conduct the U.S. premiere of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' Kommilitonen! (Young Blood!) - an opera co-commissioned by Juilliard and the Royal Academy of Music - which received its world premiere in London this past March to remarkable critical acclaim. The production opens Juilliard's 2011-12 Vocal Arts season on Wednesday, November 16 at 8 PM, with additional performances on Friday, November 18 at 8 PM and Sunday, November 20 at 2 PM. David Pountney, librettist of the opera, provides stage direction, sets and costumes are by Robert Innes Hopkins, and choreography is by Carolum Choa.

George Donaldson has been a member of the 'Celtic Thunder' Scottish/Irish singing ensemble for the last four years and has enjoyed success on both sides of the Atlantic and Australia. George will be doing some solo shows around the country and will be stopping in New York City on December 10, 2012 for a 7:30PM show at Connolly's Klub 45 at Times Square.

Celtic Thunder appeared at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on 9-29 as a stop on their new North American Tour. WLIW TV21 and WNET TV 13 had a meet and greet following the show for people that had pledged to the stations and Broadwayworld.com was on hand to take photos.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, four actors from the ABC soap opera 'One Life to Live' will reprise their roles for an upcoming story arc on the ABC soap opera 'General Hospital'. Kassie DePaiva, Roger Howarth, Michael Eason and Kristen Alderson will return in the roles they created on 'One Life to Live', which will conclude its 43 year run on January 13th. The long running soaped was recently cancelled by ABC.
