Sacramento is brimming with new works in theatre this month, and one play that I am particularly looking forward to is by former Sacramento-based playwright James Van Eaton. The outcome is some of her most raw and authentic work yet, with a profound depth to her writing, as seen on recent singles ‘With Or Without You', ‘Fire Escapes' and ‘Fragile Thing'.

If you have ever gone out for a job interview, gone on a first date, or just put yourself out there for something you really wanted. Then you can relate to this play, and you can specifically relate to the power of “No,” which is certainly one of the themes in the play. Mickle's work is always very funny.
