Good Theater will return to the St. Lawrence stage with a season of new works, recent Broadway hits, and the long-awaited Maine premiere of the critically acclaimed off-Broadway musical DESPERATE MEASURES, a production which has been on-hold since 2020, when its run was postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Ballet Hispánico announces its school year programs. With programs ranging from early childhood classes through pre-professional training, the Ballet Hispánico School of Dance has school year offerings for dancers of all ages through adult. 

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts announced it plans to resume live indoor performances beginning in October with an eclectic array of entertaining and groundbreaking programming for the first half of its 2021/2022 Season that encompasses produced and presented works in dance, theater, music, and cinema.

Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz today announced TFANA’s 2021-2022 season of productions of plays by Shakespeare, Alice Childress, and Will Eno, and the residency of CLASSIX.

Reflecting the gallery’s commitment to cross-category presentations and collecting, the selection encompasses a rare marble head from Magna Graecia, a significant Renaissance sculpture in terracotta, and an important example of post-Impressionism painting.

The 2021-22 season will be conducted by Artistic Director and renowned conductor Ramón Tebar and include productions at the newly renovated Wang Opera Center, the II Festival Under the Stars, and an extraordinary concert with Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov at Arthrex One.

FFDN will present its largest festival line-up to date, showcasing a hybrid mix of electrifying in-person performances and original digital content for its local and global audience, including the world premiere of 10 festival commissions. 

Now added to the programme are shows Perfectly Frank, Twice Nightly and Swan Song, with cast announcements for 2Gorgeous4U, Everybody’s Talking About Musicals, Boing…Meow! The Musical, and Broken Biscuits. Tickets are on sale for all shows. 

CATCO held a their 2021-22 Season Announcement Reception and announced they will resume theatre productions in its theatres this fall and produce six shows - four for adults and two for young audiences - for the 2021-22 season. For more information, visit catco.org.

Alina Robert has been cast in a new lead supporting role in the upcoming drama series The Roar of the Butterflies, portraying one of the three legendary Dominican activist Mirabal sisters, Patria Mirabal. This will be one of the first exclusive series acquired by Star+, part of The Walt Disney Company Latin America.

Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced the much-anticipated return of in-person performing arts across their venues: the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Merriam Theater. On September 18, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Kimmel Cultural Campus will host a grand reopening event in Commonwealth Plaza to celebrate the start of the 2021-22 season.
