Innsbrook After Hours announced that Chase Rice will perform at the SERVPRO of Richmond Pavilion on Saturday, August 15th and Steve Earle and Los Lobos will perform on Friday, September 4th. What happens when 1880 Western bandits are brought back to life in Azusa, CA by a space alien? Sam Shepard's The Unseen Hand joins Odyssey Theatre Ensemble's 50th Anniversary “Circa '69” Season of significant and adventurous plays that premiered around the time of the company's inception, coupled with Shepard's gritty and audacious Killer's Head. Longtime Shepard collaborator Darrell Larson directs both plays for a Jan. 25 opening at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A., where performances will continue through March 8.

Multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning composer/pianist/educator Arturo O'Farrill and the non-profit The Afro Latin Jazz Alliance (ALJA) announce a special Holiday Dance Concert featuring the 18-piece Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra (ALJO) performing riveting compositions from its acclaimed repertoire at BRIC House on Thursday, December 5, 2019. The Holiday Dance Concert raises funds for the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance's Music Education Programs. The evening will be a retrospective of Latin Jazz Big Band music with an emphasis on Mambo. Arturo O'Farrill and ALJO will perform with special guest vocalists Sammy Gonzalez Jr. and Ivan Llanes. The Fat Afro Latin Jazz Cats Youth Big Band will open the show.

As Little Steven looks back on his early solo career with the upcoming boxed set, RockNRoll Rebel – The Early Work, the creatively restless Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is simultaneously looking forward with a slew of new releases including a theatrical, Gene Kelly-inspired video for his song “Love Again” from his latest album, Summer Of Sorcery, and an exuberant live performance of Bruce Springsteen's “Tucson Train.” Leading up to the December 6 release of the boxed set, Little Steven aka Steven Van Zandt has been steadily releasing digital deluxe editions of the albums included over the last few weeks and today has made available his 1989 album, Revolution, which includes two rare mixes of the title track.
