Neil Young has announced the release of the fourth installment in his Official Release Series (ORS): a box set that includes his classic ‘80s records Hawks & Doves, Re•ac•tor, and This Note’s for You, as well as his Eldorado EP, previously released only in Japan and Australia. During Prohibition, The Cresson Inn at 114 Gay Street in Manayunk went from an inn to a shoe store with a bustling speakeasy in the basement. On Thursday, March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, the building which just turned 111 years-old, is set to reopen as The Cresson Inn — a new and improved ‘corner bar’ following an acquisition, a complete renovation of the space, and delicious new food and drink options.

A little town in southern New Hampshire is going full scary this Halloween. In addition to their annual Scarecrows on the Common, the new Park Theatre is presenting a festival of horror movies, plus spooky events and their 2nd annual Halloween costume contest. Halloweek Fest runs from October 26 to October 31.
