This winter, Book-It Repertory Theatre (Book-It) presents the all-audio theatrical adaptation of The Canterville Ghost, a classic short story by celebrated British wit Oscar Wilde. This tale of an American family transplanted to a British manor house, and steadfastly ignoring the resident ghost, satirically cleaves the intersection of American and British sensibilities. The Canterville Ghost was adapted and directed for Book-It’s audio season by Brandon J. Simmons (he/him).
New Musical HALF THE SKY To Be Produced As Musical Radio Play In 5th Avenue 20/21 Digital Season

After what has and continues to be a relentless year for the arts, Seattle Rep plants seeds for the future of the industry by devising an ambitious commission project featuring three initiatives: 20x30: Reimagining the Anthropocene, a program that will commission 20 playwrights; New Directions, a program that will commission directors each year; and the launch of a commissioning program for Seattle Rep's Public Works.

Play Your Part partners with King County Sexual Assault Resource Center and SWOP Seattle to produce Sex, a play with music written by Mae West.
