In September 2024, Z Space in San Francisco will host a workshop for the immersive concert-play WILDFIRE, written and conceived by Jessica Kahkoska. The narrative follows eight individuals in a mountain resort town as they confront the looming threat of a wildfire, weaving together stories of trauma, grief, and healing. The production features a score by notable folk artists, with music supervision by Mark G. Meadows and direction by Adin Walker. The cast includes Lila Blue as a reporter, Ashkon Davaran as a fire marshal, and Mark G. Meadows as a rancher, among others.
